Topaz, a very unusual cat with special conjure powers goes on a mission to find out why. He is joined by friends who want to help him solve the mystery. But it's up to the big cat alone, to learn how to use his untested abilities to defend the future of the kingdom and protect its subjects from harm.

Part II Topaz and the Sacred Stone: Topaz and his companions must take Otis, the great owl, to the Gnome fortress to find out what ails him. But, this is just the beginning for Topaz and his friends. They must also find the cure. Their search takes them to dangerous and peculiar land. It's here, that the Spirit of Amber Tiger comes to Topaz in a dream, to warn him that his life is in danger. The cat must decide if his responsibility to his friend is as important as his responsibility to his kingdom. He had only to ask himself, is the danger really worth the risk?

Two fast paced adventure stories that highlight the value of loyalty and friendship. Slightly scarey and lots of fun. A good fit for independant readers who like cats and magical quests.
