The Illimitables (2) by Jack D. Smith

Although this is a fictional story about one of the greatest inventive minds from the late 19th and 20th Century, it reveals possibilities still to be realized and developed from Tesla's 112 patents. The idea is introduced into the lives of some very special dedicated individuals determined to overcome gravity. They want to achieve success without any outside financing. Unfortunately, they become entwined with foreign spies, lies, and intrigue, romance, and adventure. The principals meet their own kind and work tenaciously to achieve their goal by many hundreds of experiments, taking them from Colorado, New York, Finland, Siberia, England, The Isle of Man, and settling in special areas of New Mexico. The Illimitables open up new industries and make American military unchallenged. Such developments created new industries and gainful employment for thousands around the world. This story is wrapped around the lives of individuals making such things reality.
