The London Club by Harry Gillespie

Successful business owner Victor Paulson has just turned up dead. Even though he rose from being the leader of a street gang in London to becoming a member of the prestigious gentleman's club, the London Club, his aggressive and abrasive personality endeared him to no one. But was his death an accident-or murder?Scotland Yard is sent to investigate. Led by Chief Detective Ian MacPherson and assisted by Dr. Sergeant David Campbell, a retired psychologist from the United States, the team begins to gather evidence surrounding Paulson's death. They compile a list of people close to Carlson and begin the long round of questioning, hoping to find some bit of information to steer them in the right direction. When the autopsy suggests that Paulson's death was not an accident, MacPherson and his team know they must bring the perpetrator to justice. But Paulson was not a well-liked man, and the list of those who might wish to do him in is lengthy. Can MacPherson and his associates find enough evidence to convict a killer, or is this case a blur between black and white, right and wrong?

Filled with intrigue and drama, The London Club delivers a fast-paced mystery that takes an in-depth look at the gray area between innocence and guilt.
